It's actually core now, but everything is locked into the core Diff comparison engine.

It probably requires a significant effort making these Diff comparison engines plugable to switch between the core Diff engine and optional others.

This seems to be out of scope for this module. One of the maintainers should confirm it.

Yeah, that's a different case and our architecture doesn't cover this direction. I have no clue how to make this configurable so that it could fit common use cases... nor do i see an overlap with most common use cases we have.
IMHO doesn't fit with our MVP goal or later maintenance.

New idea, separate module.
