not sure if http://drupal.org/node/418910 will fix this or not.

When deploying a node with a nodereference from site A to B it deploys fine.
When I edit the nodereference on site A, and deploy again to site B, the nodereference on site B does not get updated.
Can someone confirm if this should work? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong here.

required: off
number of values: 1

I am also getting the same bug when I add nodes in bulk in the deployment plan.

Important: It happens when the referred node is also added to the plan
