DeployServiceException: Service error: 404 Not found

could have sworn i just posted to existing issue concerning this but can't find issue or my post.. ughh

- latest -dev (or newer) of all concerned modules
- set up source/server with deploy to send taxonomy terms from 1 site to another
- use Rules action with vbo to add a term to plan (term shows listed on plan overview)
- deploy plan (queued)
- run cron
- after cron finished overview states Published

Source log:
DeployServiceException: Service error: 404 Not found : Could not find resource taxonomy_term. in DeployServiceRest->httpRequest() (line 74 of E:\www\Squared\sap\sites\all\modules\deploy\includes\DeployServiceRest.inc).

Server log:
- looks like user gets authenticated; but nothing about term object being received
