karens commentedThis is a pretty useless report, an error message with absolutely no context about what you were doing when you saw it. I can't possibly do anything with this. It shouldn't be possible to get this message since it implies that views is trying to read the default view without having information about the view handlers. I've never seen a message like this and no one else has reported it, so I have absolutely no idea what happened.

baff commentedSame happend to me today. First I installed the Date modul for cck. That worked. Then I created a date field. Then I wanted to install the views modul and the error message was:
Fatal error: Call to a member function override_option() on a non-object in C:\xampplite\htdocs\lostflirtfinder\sites\all\modules\date\includes\date_api.views_default.inc on line 81

baff commentedSolved it today. The problem was: When I had installed the Date modul for cck i made a test date.
Then after activatig the view modul there was a problem with showing that test date. So I removed the view modul directory - then I deleted the test date - then I installed the view modul again - and everything is fine now so far :-)
