The contentpool distribution combines the publishing features of the Thunder distribution with powerful content API & replication features!
Features:
- Editing & publishing features based on Thunder
- Content-Embed API for flexible content re-use on any independent client
- Content-Replication based on the reliable tools of replication module to any number of satellite sites (push + pull based!)
- Content-API for usage without replication
- PHP-SDK for simplified API usage
- Drupal 8 client module for satellites sites
Status
The distribution proved itself very valuable, but it turned out that replication via multiversion is too complex for our use-case - so we switched to a simpler approach.
