gmclelland commentedThis happened to me as well with a menu with 300 menu items. I disabled the content menu module and then I was able to save the hierarchy. I thought that was the fix, but now even with the content menu module disabled it is not saving the hierarchy unless I manually edit each node's menu item and set the parent. Maybe this is a core bug?

simon georges commentedWould you eventually have other modules that are messing with the menu? What theme are you using? Does the problem happen with Seven or another admin theme?

klonos...
gmclelland commentedIn my case I'm using the Seven theme. I also tried with the Shiny theme, but I had the same problem. I don't have any other menu related modules other than admin_menu.

gmclelland commentedI'm not sure, but this might be due to #1007746: Reordering fails with more than 100 items in a menu
Comment #7
simon georges commentedDoes someone have the issue with a small number of items in the menu?
klonosI don't have this issue (merely following because if it proved to be an actual bug, I would want to know about it). My biggest menus are around ~50 items though, so that could be why I wasn't having the issue.
Can someone that is having the issue please test the latest patch available for D7 from #1007746-41: Reordering fails with more than 100 items in a menu and report if it fixes things for them?
