This module seems great!
I would very much have this functionality on commerce products. These are not nodes but other entities.
Would this be possible please?

It is necessary to mark the products that are going to be included in the comparison. Currently this is displayed to the user in the links section of the renderable node array. This is so that it does not appear between the teaser and the read more link. This also avoids the code being specific to Ubercart or any other application or having to use Views or Better Exposed Filters or the products displayed on a specific page. But it does rely on using nodes.

I think it would be possible to alter this code to work with entities instead or in addition to nodes. But it would take some work and with the modules I currently maintain I do not have time to take on additional tasks.
