As a community member, I'd like to change frequency of my all email notifications [#1539348]

This is related to following issues:

#1538550: Commons Follow - Email notifications
#1538558: As a community member, I'd like to receive an email when a new post is added to a group that I've joined
#1538562: As a community member, I'd like to receive an email notification when a new comment is posted in groups where I am a member.

and Commons D7 notifications requirements ezra-g scratch - Not definitive spreadsheet.

It would be great to provide out of the box following frequency for email notifications:

Instant
Daily
Weekly

I'm personaly perfectly fine if this can be configured for all email notifications only - without possibility to configure it for specific event.

Bummer, I saw just now that this is mentioned in Most complex requirements sheet..

Thanks for the well written feature request and attentino to the issue queue!

I'll have a better sense on whether this level of granularity might make it into the MVP by the end of the week.

Time granularity for notifications are particularly complex to implement so this may, at least for the MVP, become a "patches welcome" feature :).

I suppose we're talking about a feature to allow digests of a stream as currently? Since http://drupal.org/node/700308#comment-5363988 we could probably create a digest newsletter without having to write a new custom module, particularly if the 'activity stream' module of choice integrates well with Views.
