CommerceBox vs Commerce Kickstart?

Just like KickStart, CommerceBox has the similar scope of modules for Drupal Commerce system. The main difference is the flexibility which we want to implement. Using Apps module we are trying to reach the maximum simplification of the additional systems installation which helps to extend the whole functionality. For example, at the current moment there is a great number of payment systems (PayPal, Autorize, Robokasa, etc), but which is the best for your eshop? The right answer cannot be given beforehand. But adding all the existing payment systems to the package is definitely not an option - it would be rather a suicidal move than an improvement: more modules for installation, some of which you will never use... This can cause chaos and increase your website load. It concerns not only payment systems but also other entities like products statuses, checkout systems, etc. The extension of functionality has to be simplified and facilitated to the maximum both for the developer and for user (we mean website admin who possibly isn’t familiar with Drupal or peculiarities of website development at all).

Also our task is to improve installation of various themes for online eshop. Drupal themes provide a very little functionality for user, e.g. with theme installation the website structure isn’t changed. So we attempt to give this possibility as well. We like the idea of Apps extension for themes support https://drupal.org/node/1730160. Though it may seem more like a kludge for Drupal 7 but it really opens great opportunities.

Also CommerceBox core has Google Analytics, Pathauto, Commerce Reports modules. We are constantly improving Admin Panel for the maximum simplification of work with website and working out user friendly navigation.
