After updating Dompdf, billy stops functioning. I could not find any information about how to resolve this whilst searching, so I am making this issue for future reference. After updating there is only a single error (see below) and after that the links ( on /admin/commerce/orders ) simply do not show up.

In wachdog there is one message:

DOMPDF exception while generating pdf invoice: No block-level parent found. Not good.

The problem lay in an incapability between Dompdf and the server's PHP version.
