Chosen grays out certain select lists

The default select:visible for Apply Chosen to the following elements makes certain select list options unchangeable. The Minimum number of options for single select list of options is grayed out and clicking it does nothing. However, the Minimum number of options for multi select and Minimum number to show Search on Single Select works fine and is changeable. I tried to change the selectors to select, but the issue still remains. Leaving the Apply Chosen to the following elements blank, allows the previously grayed out select options to be changeable, however, Chosen is not applied.

This is right as soon as I installed and enabled the Chosen module.
