Using one's ContentType Value as a fields default value for another content type

I have created two content types say "article category" (with 0 fields created, title which is basically present) and "article" (with more than 1 fields created, article_category_field, title which is basically present), Is there a way to retrieve all the content values of "article category" in "article's-article_category_field".
