DEVELOPER.TXT still references the deleted examples folders

The "examples" folder has been deleted but the DEVELOPER.TXT file still references it:

Look in the /examples/ folder of this module for example field module code.

As a sidenote, I'm converting a couple of contributed cck modules to Drupal 6 and the current documentation is not always clear in how to upgrade functions. For instance hook_widget has changed drastically so an example like the Converting 5.x modules to 6.x documentation would be really helpful.
