Hi,

I have a may be simple question: can a nodetype with nodereference point to the same nodetype please? are there disadvantages to this?
I have a node A of product nodetype with node reference field, but not mandatory and not filled and this is the main product
I have a node B of the same product nodetype and this is referencing to node A
I have a node C of the same product nodetype and this is referencing to node A

Are there disadvantages of this method please? Will this work ok?
Thanks a lot in advance for your reply!

Greetings,
Martijn

Title: Reference to own nodetype, with using a primary node not using reference and secundairy using reference » Is it OK (and safe) to reference own Nodetype, (with no primary reference, secondary using reference)?

Trying to clarify title. //subscribing.

I think the core question is, may there be unintended consequences (disadvantages one doesn't think of) when referencing a cck nodetype from that nodetype? TIA for any answers.

(referred from #drupal-consultants, just trying to clarify)

We did this on the site, so I'm going to close the issue and presume SAFE.
