Devel had a CVS checkout from October 20, 2010. I could not find a commit on that date. The commit previous to October 20 seems to be on October 3 2010. Also, I don't see any tags created on October 20.

Features had a CVS checkout from October 27. I only see a commit on October 25.

I compared features.module and devel.module between the CVS checkout and Git checkout and they are the same (minus the $Id$).

Seems profiles don't allow version numbers in issues? This patch is for "7.x-2.x"

Once Build Kit uses Git, CVS can be removed as a requirement from the project page.
