BlogSEO for Drupal connects your site to BlogSEO, an AI blog writer that finds keywords your audience searches for, writes SEO articles in your brand voice, publishes them to your Drupal site on a schedule and builds backlinks to your site through its backlink exchange network. This module is the connector: articles are created as regular Drupal nodes, so your theme, URL aliases and editorial workflow keep working as they do today.

Features

  • Connects with a key you paste from your BlogSEO dashboard. No password to share, and no need to switch JSON:API to read and write for the whole site.
  • Publishes into the content type you choose, as a draft or published, and respects Content Moderation states.
  • Sets the author, taxonomy terms, URL alias and cover image (file or media field).
  • Uploads inline images to your Drupal file system so they stay on your site.
  • Updates or removes the node when you edit or delete the article in BlogSEO.
  • Backlinks on autopilot: once your site is connected, it can join BlogSEO's non-reciprocal backlink exchange. Other BlogSEO users' articles link to your pages with contextual anchors, and you choose the minimum Domain Rating of the sites that link to you.

Post-Installation

  1. Enable the module.
  2. In BlogSEO, go to Integrations, choose Drupal and copy your connection key.
  3. In Drupal, go to Configuration > Web services > BlogSEO (/admin/config/services/blogseo) and paste the key.
  4. Back in BlogSEO, pick the content type, default author and text format. New articles are then published on your schedule.

Additional Requirements

  • Drupal 10.3 or 11.
  • A BlogSEO account. BlogSEO is a paid service; the module itself is free and GPL.
  • Pathauto, if you want alias patterns to apply to published articles.

Similar projects

The AI module helps editors generate text inside Drupal with their own provider keys. BlogSEO works outside Drupal: it plans keywords, writes and schedules whole articles, builds backlinks, and uses this module only to publish to your site.

If you take part in the backlink exchange, articles BlogSEO publishes to your site may include one contextual link to another member's site. The exchange is optional and you can turn it off at any time in your BlogSEO settings; articles are then published without exchange links.
