bib.ly parses and recognizes some date formats as Bible verses such as Jul 06 for July 06 as Judges 6, and Mar for March as Mark, and Jan for January as James. Any way I can block it from parsing those dates or that you could fix this issues?

In the config settings you can set just an id for the region in the page to act on. One option is to limit what bib.ly operates on to a part of the page w/o dates.

I'm passing this bug on to the bib.ly developer to see if there is something that can be done in the service/script.

Should be fixed now. You might have to clear your cache to get an updated, fixed copy.
