Drop down menus display fleetingly on ipad in drupal 7.32

Since upgrading drupal I find that Drop down menus display fleetingly on ipad in drupal 7.32.

Drop down menus do not behave as before. On occasion the drop down menus diisappear too soon so that the user is unable to make a selection.
