Problem/Motivation

I have noticed that my scheduled backups have not been running and no backup files have been saved. In my site B&M settings I have had a weekly backup set up for as long as I can remember but in /admin/config/system/backup_migrate/schedule "last run" says "never".

Steps to reproduce

Editing existing schedule:
1. Go into /admin/config/system/backup_migrate/schedule
2. Click on "edit" against the weekly backup (this is my only scheduled backup)
3. Nothing happens (page seems to refresh)
Same happens if I click export or revert.

Creating new schedule:
1. Go into /admin/config/system/backup_migrate/schedule
2. Set up a new schedule e.g. backup every 8 days
3. Click Save schedule
4. Get generic error "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."
5. Navigate back, new schedule has not been saved.

Log message says:
PDOException: SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'machine_name' in 'field list': INSERT INTO {backup_migrate_schedules} (machine_name, name, source_id, destination_id, copy_destination_id, profile_id, keep, period, enabled, cron, cron_schedule) VALUES (:db_insert_placeholder_0, :db_insert_placeholder_1, :db_insert_placeholder_2, :db_insert_placeholder_3, :db_insert_placeholder_4, :db_insert_placeholder_5, :db_insert_placeholder_6, :db_insert_placeholder_7, :db_insert_placeholder_8, :db_insert_placeholder_9, :db_insert_placeholder_10); Array ( [:db_insert_placeholder_0] => every_8_days [:db_insert_placeholder_1] => Every 8 days [:db_insert_placeholder_2] => db [:db_insert_placeholder_3] => scheduled [:db_insert_placeholder_4] => [:db_insert_placeholder_5] => default [:db_insert_placeholder_6] => 12 [:db_insert_placeholder_7] => 691200 [:db_insert_placeholder_8] => 1 [:db_insert_placeholder_9] => builtin [:db_insert_placeholder_10] => 0 4 * * * ) in drupal_write_record() (line 7471 of /home/mysite/public_html/includes/common.inc).

I have updated the module to the most recent version and cleared cache but it hasn't made any difference.

Note, I can do a manual backup into the manual backups directory no problem.
