Problem/Motivation
Hi there,
I have installed Backup and Migrate 2.4 on few sites with Drupal 7, but few weeks ago it started sending us email with error that files cannot be saved in directory for scheduled backups. I have only one plan set that makes every day at night database backup. We (at company) decided to turn this plan off because we have set all server backup schedule, so no need for backuping database twice. Well, I didn't start solving the problem with inaccesible directory and just turned the schedule off, but emails haven't stopped coming. The more strange it is, that even if the schedule was turned on before, the backups were saved in the scheduled directory, but it still was sending error email that directory is inaccessible. So my simple thought is, that there must be something (maybe from older versions of Backup and Migrate) that still keeps trying to make backup even if the plan is turned off. See attachment screenshot. So I don't care about inaccessible directory (even if it is strange that schedule successfully saved backup files either), but I'm wondering why it still trying to backup while it shouldn't.
Error email content:
Site was taken offline.
Site was taken online.
Unable to create or write to the save directory 'private://backup_migrate/scheduled'. Please check the file permissions that directory and try again.
Unable to create or write to the save directory 'private://backup_migrate/scheduled'. Please check the file permissions that directory and try again.
Could not run backup because the file could not be saved to the destination.
Thank you, guys, in advance.

jezdec commentedMy bad. Actually we have development version of website and we forgot to change crontab :) so, our official website seemed to be yelling about actualization and this error message, but it was devel version :) ... I'm sorry, closing issue.
