Jeff mentioned in his Snowman session at BADCamp that he'd be happy for anyone with a pulse to maintain this. I have a pulse! I also have some experience writing install profiles and interest in this project.

Yay! Hope you'll look at integrating the excellent Answers module, which has picked up where arrayshift left off long ago.

Thanks for the mention, Randy.

Hi @sreyen. I'm currently maintaining the Answers module. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have or collaborate if you'd like to include Answers in an updated ArrayShift and see some adjustments to be made.

I'm retracting this request, as I've since committed to too much else.

As per #1049212-14: D7 port of ArrayShift , I hope it's OK to update the status of this issue.

To chipcleary : I'm interested in exploring the options available as you suggested. FYI: I'm all in for "joining forces", look at (eg) my "Chart 2.0" ambitions to understand what I mean by that ...

Hi Pierre.Vriens, sorry but I'm not quite following.

I've continued to maintain Answers.

I had viewed ArrayShift as a separate distribution to support a Q&A site which might make sense to base on Answers. I'm not currently sure I see a need for that (although that's just my opinion).

Would Answers serve the need you see? Note: I expect over the next few weeks to release the version that's currently 7.x-4.0-rc2. Or do you have other thoughts?
