Add an item, get multiple entries

First, thanks a ton for this awesome module. Wow, great stuff! I have a block working great, but I cannot seem to add Amazon items to stories without getting multiple entries. Multiple, as in 400-500 additional Amazon content items each time I try. I have tried this with two different websites. Here's what I do: I create a new story, enter an ASIN in the "Related Books" field, preview (everthing looks great), and then submit the story. It takes an unusual amount of time to finish posting and then it comes back with hundreds of copies of that Amazon entry. It does the same thing when adding an Amazon item manually. Oddly enough, Administer, Amazon Item Import works great.

PHP is 4.3.11, mysql is 4.1.x (not sure exactly, can't tell from where I am right now). Any help or pointers in the right direction are appreciated. Thanks!
