Telos Brain Provider connects Drupal AI Assistant chat to one Telos Brain.
Telos Brain is a workflow runner. Chat turns go to the Brain Execution API, and the models in the assistant dropdown are Brain workflows, not LLM names. Store the Brain API key with the Key module.
Use this for the AI Assistant only. Do not set Telos Brain as the site Chat default. Content Suggestions, CKEditor, and other one-shot features need a token LLM.
Requirements
- Drupal 10.4 or 11 (not Drupal 12 yet; AI has no D12 release)
- AI 1.2+
- Key 1.18+
- A Telos Brain Execution API key from first Brain deploy (not the organisation tbk_ key)
Installation
Install with Composer, then enable the module:
composer require drupal/ai_provider_telos_brain
For the DeepChat UI, also enable AI Assistant API and AI Chatbot.
Configuration
- Create a Key entity for the Brain API key at
/admin/config/system/keys. - Configure the provider at
/admin/config/ai/providers/telos_brain. - Create an AI Assistant (
/admin/config/ai/ai-assistant) with provider Telos Brain. The model list is Brain workflows. - Place the DeepChat chatbot block. Grant
access deepchat apito authenticated roles only.
Do not set Telos Brain as the site Chat default on /admin/config/ai/settings.
Optional submodule Telos Brain Host lets Brain call this Drupal site (reads; node writes only after you turn that on). Full setup, host callbacks, and the Brain schema pack are in the README on branch 1.0.x.
