Is it possible to add support that will allow you to inject an ad in the body of certain content types?

It can be in the middle of content or after paragraph X.

This was done previously with the Adsense Injector module.

The way to do this in D8 is to enable and use the AdSense text filter. It's not exactly the same as adsense injector, but there seems to be no movement in porting that to D8.

I am sure someone has already done, but can we add it to this module?

After taking a good look at it, I don't think the module needs to do anything more than it already does.

It already provides a filter to allow the content creator to inline an ad in the content text, and it provides a block that could be used in a block-paragraph for those using paragraphs.

Altering the page output to insert a piece of HTML at random locations is something that can easily break the page quite easily.
