I've tried installing this module on two separate installs of Drupal with no luck. Firstly I create an advertisement type then click 'save and add fields'. Now upon creation I'm presented with this page resulting in me unable to make any type of advert. What am I doing wrong?

Try using the latest 7.x-1.x dev release. Development for 7.x is happening in the 1.x branch.
