strange, this was working before current version- if i vote on something, the action is recorded BUT the actual text displayed in block and activity page just shows the red "new" text and not the details (userx voted on xxx)

I only did minimal testing for voting activity. I'm on holiday
now and will be back in just a few days so I'll pick up this
issue when I return.

when you installed the voting activity module had you already installed votingapi AND already voted on something? Until votingapi module has at least one vote, there wouldn't be any token values in the votingapi activity settings page. What do you see when you go to admin/settings/activity/votingapi ?

It's working for me so I figure more information is needed.

okay, so voting api was already installed and i'd already been voting on stuff on a test site for weeks before this module was even available ! ;)

when i disabled voting for activity, i then went back and just re-enabled and the tokens are still available - see attached image- it still doesn't work, just tried voting again...

can you show me a screenshot of the whole settings page for votingapi activity not just the available tokens?

The latest snapshot dated (should be dated 10/30) has a fix that should get voting working OK now. Please try it out.

btw, it also appears that some of hte other stuff i was seeing (issues) are unique to *only* the admin view, not sure if this is worth tossing in documentation incase it's by design

for example, when logged in as 'admin' the 'my friends activity' shows my own activity - but when i log in as a user the problem does not exist...

Original issue regarding problems with voting activity have been fixed. #9 has its own issue now: #325598: possible problems with UserRelationships interactions, module producing issues in display of activity
