The Activity Stream module allows users to pull in their activity from across the internet (Twitter, Flickr, Digg, blogs, etc.). It would be good if each of these external activities could be tied in to the Activity module so they could be shown in line with everything else.

Do you mean that activity module should add its own contrib modules to follow external activity on say a user's Twitter/Flickr/etc? Or are you saying activity module should track activity of the Activity Stream module which in turn tracks these external sites?

I think the latter would be best. If activity stream is already pulling in information, why not use it:

activity module should track activity of the Activity Stream module which in turn tracks these external sites
