When I went to www.example.com/admin/ I noticed that I had lots of Access Denied messages registered. So after applying the filter of showing only Access Denied messages, it turned out that there is Access Denied of the url www.example.com/node/add/blog every single minute!

It's next to impossible to have visitors accessing that very page EVERY minute, unless I have millions of anonymous visitors (I wish!) trying to add their blog. The message is either (1)by the minute or (2)twice in a minute then skips the next minute.

Any ideas on what's causing this? Search robots? Google analytics? Every single minute?! And why only that particular page? Hmmm.......

Probably a spam bot looking for blogs. Open it for anonymous users for a minute to find out.

If this is the case and you want to open the blog for posts and/or comments, you may need the captcha module.

the blog is already open for posts and comments but only to registered users so it's not the concern. The captcha module is very promising and effective but the implementation/ui isn't compatible with my site.

on the event logs it is showing the http://...blog?iid=????.. so this means that it is coming from the 'blog it' link of the aggregator module, so it's most probably a bot (searchbot, spambot, etc) or hopefully that i have different anonymous users by the minute trying to post blogs from the aggregator pages (ha! i wish!)

nothing i can do, i guess, or is there?
