I'm still in 4.7, so jquery stuff is out for now. Though, if this ends up being too complex, I may just wait.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to make less typing for the user entering a CCK node. I have street / city / state / zip to record the address and I also have a taxo term for city and you also need to type the address into another textbox to trigger some js to geocode it. I'd like to make it so they only need to fill in the street / city / state / zip fields and it automatically selects the matching taxo term and also sends it to the text box for geocoding.

Any clue how I can do this?

I'm in 5.1 and I have the same question. I would like to make a CCK field wich contains 3 fields where 2 are automatically set based on the others.

Thanks for bumping this up... Forgot I wrote it. LOL! I actually had to shelve this project for quite a few months and am now on 5.1, so I'd like an answer for 5.1 as well. :) I'll get back to this section of the site soon and still have the same question, though jquery is an option now.
