I installed ajax.module and ajax spellcheck module. After clicking on 'Check Spelling' it does not return any result and has no activity. On the administration logs however, Drupal shows the following error:

fsockopen(): no SSL support in this build in /home/openhori/public_html/drupal-4.6.8/includes/common.inc on line 272.

fsockopen(): unable to connect to www.google.com:443 in /home/openhori/public_html/drupal-4.6.8/includes/common.inc on line 272.

Please help...This is really urgent!

Google has changed the way in which their spell checker is accessed, it's likely that the module hasn't been updated to suit.

I cannot get Ajax Spellcheck to work with Drupal 4.6.3. The Ajax module was installed prior to the Ajax Spellcheck module. When "Check Spelling" is clicked nothing happens. In the Logs the following error is returned:

fread() [function.fread]: SSL: fatal protocol error in xxx/common.inc on line 314.
