Hi ppl,
My query is if it is possible to upgrade a site from 4.6.6 to 4.7.2 with a couple of custom modules present in existing site?
and in particular if the data in flexinode forms can be migrated to the new version without problems?
Will the existing theme work with the new Drupal?
thanks to all in advance, i sure hope i'd get some advice here.

Will it be better?
Will it be better if i do a fresh install and then do data migration to the new system, since the site refered to here doesn't have much traffic at present, and i can afford to do this if thats a better option

I hope you get an answer
I hope you get an answer from someone who knows better than me (which is almost everyone here). But for now, I'll say everything I've read since the 4.7 release warns that 4.6 modules will not work on 4.7. If I remember correctly, 4.7 has fundamental changes in the way it relates to the Db. If that's true, your custom modules will have to be modified to work with 4.7, and it depends on their function whether that modification will require changes of a few lines, or a major rewrite.

Thanks a lot...

Didn't go very far..
the table structure of "node" is different in the two versions.. and moreover i got an error installing the custom review module that i had got made for 4.6.. so 4.7 is out may be i'd upgrade to 4.6.8; might make my life easiers a bit since the existing site is too slow..
