The Readme file clearly says I can mix OG Forums with ordinary Forums but I can't find a way of doing it. When I try to post into a non-OG Forum a message comes up saying: 'You must join a Group to be able to post.' Clearly I must be missing something, but what?

Do I need to create a second Forum Content Type? If so, how do I do that? I know how to create new Content Types, but not how to make them Forum posts.

I am seeing a similar issue with 6.x-2.2: My site has groups and some standard forums in place. All been working well for ages. My client now wants a private forum for a group so I have installed OG Forum.
Set up a new group and it creates a new forum for the group - so far so good. Only the standard forum listing (i.e. example.com/forum) now reports as "No forums defined" for all users with 'administer nodes' permission. The forum posts are still accessible via recent/active forum posts blocks.
Where am I going wrong? Or is it a bug with OG Forum?

Update: disable OG Forum and my forum listing page once again becomes accessible to non admin users. For me this means that OG Forum does not play nicely with the core Forums module.
