Offshoot from #542658: Move action "tabs" out of local tasks:
Problem
- The "inline" method of adding new system objects in a table (f.e. on admin/config/people/roles) is no longer in line with the new action links.
Procedure
- Fix those ;)
- I.e. use action links. :)

sunSome clarification:
Bojhan commentedyes we can probably make that just an action - lets revisit this after freeze.
sunI'm totally sorry! This issue is *only* about the third screenshot - I have therefore removed the others to decrease confusion.
catch/me revisits, minor cleanup like this is probably just about OK for the next week or so. Action link sounds good.
catchBut not really critical.
sunDo we really want to remove this pattern? Field UI basically implements it as well. And I'd say it's faster to work with.
Bojhan commentedWell - we can for this page, I dont see any reason to have this inconsistent.
jacineI like these inline forms as opposed to the action links. They make sense to me in this case as well as the fields UI.
Too late for this anyway. Moving to D8.
sunNote, however, that this concept/pattern #fails if you have more than 5 or whatever existing "things".
If you have >10 or >20 user roles, then the last row where you can add a new one, will possibly be located below the visible viewport.
jhedstromAFAIK this has been completely revamped in 8.
smustgrave commentedMoving this to closed outdated as this hasn't had a follow up since moving into PNMI 7 years ago.
