Rather than comparing the file size, I would check the CVS revision as reported in the CVS repository. For both the version you reported, the CVS revision of the .module file is 1.1.2.1.2.1; clearly there have not been new commits between the two versions, which is not what I would expect when the version is changed from 2.0 to 3.0.

Sorry about this, it looks like I committed daniels patch to HEAD instead of the Drupal 5 branch!

I've re-released the D5 download, let me know how it goes. And everyone than danielnolde for his hard work!
