After installing "Better Formats" the teaser in the Month/Week/list ... View displays "r/a" instead of the teaser.
Allowing access to "administrate filters" (filter Module) for everybody solves the problem but it could be a security hole.

I don't know the better formats module. And yes, allowing people to admin filters is sure a security problem.

I don't use event but I use views with calendar module with not issues. Also, I don't readily see where BF could be causing that as BF only comes into play on node, comment, and block "create" forms (and only aids the selection of a format) and does nothing with output or viewing which is handled the regular Drupal way.

If you are sure BF is causing this issue please provide more information about your setup, the steps you followed to reproduce the error, what you expected, and what you received.

It seems to be an Event Module problem, I switched to the Calendar/Date modules and the Problem with BF "disappeared" .

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
