Does it work if you disable the Image Assist button?

I thought I'd weigh in as I'm having a similar problem.

I am running 5.16, and I just switched from the TinyMCE module to this one and the latest TinyMCE 3.2.2 The TinyMCE editor appears and behaves as expected when creating a new node. e.g. /node/add/page

When I edit existing nodes, the editor does not appear, nor does the HTML source show any reference to the TinyMCE javascripts. Since the js isn't present, toggling the input type obviously has no effect. e.g. /node/100/edit

The Image Assist module is installed, but I disabled it while troubleshooting. It has no effect. I'll continue to search, but hopefully you'll find this new data useful.

I am having the same problem. I have a multisite installation using one code base; for some of the sites the editor appears correctly and for others it doesn't. I tried matching the modules exactly and still it works in one case and not another.

I'm running 5.x-1.1 with TinyMCE 3 and the editor doesn't show up for the blog content type - any ideas?

Hello,

On D6 with WYSIWYG 6.x-2.x-dev and TinyMCE 3.2.2 I have the same problem.
The Flash button has to be disabled and then it works.
