Problem/Motivation

We should update the project's GitLab CI configuration to take advantage of the latest changes from the gitlab_templates project.

Proposed resolution

Update .gitlab-ci.yml. Note the latest version at time-of-writing is 1.15.0, and the changes from what we have are trivial.
