Problem/Motivation

Bulk asset import tool in acquia_dam allows selecting one or more categories to bulk import to Drupal. However, it appears to match categories based on a partial match, so, for example, selecting a category named “Test” will also import all the assets in a different category named “Testing.”

Steps to reproduce

  • Spin up a Drupal site and install latest acquia_dam (tested on 1.1.7).
  • Configure the module to connect to DAM
  • Enable bulk asset import submodule and select category “Test” (tested with laser DAM instance)
  • Run cron
  • Assets from categories other than the one selected are imported as media entities in Drupal.

Proposed resolution

update with cat:({$category_name}) for Categories and also for asset group
