2️⃣ Event registration. I met with @mandclu and he recommended that we analyze the Entity Registration module for opportunities to extend it so that registration can be of CRM Contacts (not just Users) and open an issue in the queue there with a proposal. Seeking one or more volunteers to dig in!

paulmckibben This sounds like an excellent idea. Also, it's helpful that mandclu is a maintainer of that module--it'll definitely smooth the process of any changes we need to make to support allowing CRM contacts to register.
jdleonard Agreed! But I gather he's not the primary maintainer so there will still be some convincing to do...

James Shields At its peak, about 15,000 sites used Entity Registration. It's now down to 3000, and 2000 of those are still D7. Member Platform could help rejuvenate the module.
James Shields But I agree we'll have to do most of the legwork.
James Shields Also, while we don't plan to support paid registration in MVP, using this module means people who want to add paid registration themselves have a fairly straightforward route with Commerce Registration.

3️⃣ Requirements definition for mockups

jdleonard We made good progress on last week's Zoom call then @estevenson and I did some follow up co-work on the requirements in Mockups Notes. More to come. Seeking all feedback!

paulmckibben The "Leave flow" section led me to consider what we should do with the former member's data. I put my thoughts in comments in the doc. It may not matter so much for the mockup, but I didn't want to forget about it.
bsnodgrass (he/him) I’ve been “time challenged” so did not get back to reviewing details last week. I will try to block some time net week for comments.

4️⃣ One on one working sessions

jdleonard I'm finding that the the most progress is made on Member Platform when working one on one. I welcome anyone interested to DM me to schedule a one on one working session with me (or choose someone else to collaborate with!) to make more concrete progress on the plan.
