The Duration Field was last released more than 2 years ago. I want to complete open MRs and make a new release supporting Drupal 11.
Project: https://www.drupal.org/project/duration_field
I request to be made a maintainer of the Duration Field module.
I have contributed to these issues:
#3410177: Missing description in FieldType declaration
#3329901: Drupal Coding Standards Issues | phpcs
#3505845: Set up initial CI/CD automation
#3378096: Fatal error: undefined class
#3359040: Schema: typing error: lable instead of label

dwwHi! Thanks for your request and interest in this module. Really appreciate all the contributions you’ve made.
I won’t undercut Jaypan and directly make you a co-maintainer. But I will say I’ve finally got some time for this module again, and will be working the issue queue next week for a client gig. So I can at least move a bunch of your MRs forward (and hopefully cut a new release) in a few days.
Thanks again!

bluegeek9 commentedThe issue queue for "Duration Field" has not had movement except for this issue.
I have not heard from the maintainer Jaypan. It is unclear if dww can make additional co-maintainers.
I am moving to "Drupal.org project ownership" project

dwwI got derailed last week by other things, but I’m going to make time today and tomorrow to try to move some things forward. Stay tuned.

nterbogt commentedIs there going to be progress made on the issue queue? There are a number of RTBC issues that haven't seen maintainer involvement; even since the above comments.
People get busy, which is just part of life, but there are a few offers to help maintain this module.

bluegeek9 commentedI followed up with DWW earlier today.

dwwHi folks. Thanks for following up. Still not going to add other maintainers, since it’s not “my” module. But I will have some time on Wed and Thu of this week to try again to move some MRs forward and cut a new release.

bluegeek9 commenteddww,
If you are passing on my offer we should change the status to Closed (won't fix).
If you are saying it is not your decision to make, I would like to move the issue back to the project ownership queue.

nagy.balint commentedJust wanted to note here that this is the only module blocking one of our sites to move to Drupal 11.
Sure I can make a fork in github, but would be much better if it was not needed.
bluegeek9 commentedI sent a follow-up email to jaypan.

bluegeek9 commentedI want to be able to approve MRs and make releases for the Duration field project.
avpadernojaypan logged in at least once this week. I am going to contact him.
avpadernoThis is the message I sent.
The status has been changed because we are waiting for a reply.
Please post a comment after 14 days, if your offer has not been declined. It will show you are still interested in maintaining this project and it will serve as reminder an action is required for this offer.

jaypanMy apologies, I have my Drupal.org email filtered to a folder I haven't been checking lately. I've added bluegeek9 as a full maintainer of Duration Field. Go at it, and thank you.

avpaderno@jaypan Thank you for your reply!

jaypanAs a side note, Drupal.org could benefit from an on-site notification system, to catch users (like me) who may not check their email, but be on Drupal.org regularly.
