vladimirausMaintainer was contacted on 18 Sep 2024 via Slack and 05 Feb 2025 via email.
fabsgugu commentedHello,
If you are still interested in recovering the maintenance of the module, i invite you to move the issue to the Drupal.org project ownership issue queue.
d.fisher commentedAlso offering my help co-maintaining in order to get a Drupal 11 release for this module.
d.fisher commentedThis issue has been open longer than 14 days so I'd encourage @vladimiraus to apply for co-maintainership. If this issue isn't updated in the next 14 days I will apply instead.
d.fisher commentedI have also contacted the maintainer via their drupal.org contact on 18th March 2025.
d.fisher commentedHaving re-read the How to become project owner, maintainer, or co-maintainer documentation at:
https://www.drupal.org/docs/develop/managing-a-drupalorg-theme-module-or...
I would suggest this is a candidate to be moved to the Drupal.org project ownership issue queue now to prevent any further delay in getting this module a Drupal 11 release.
I have altered the project on this issue to get the ball rolling.
avpadernoIt is vladimiraus's offer, so it must be him to move it. It is pointless to move an offer, if the person who made the offer is no longer interested.
d.fisher commentedMakes sense. I am also offering. Does this mean I need to create an identical issue to this one and wait another 14 days?
d.fisher commentedCreated my own issue here:
https://www.drupal.org/project/media_entity_link/issues/3514042
Comment #11
smustgrave commentedSince it's been a month can 1 of the 2 or both people offering be added :)
d.fisher commentedHopefully happening soon over here:
https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3514042
Comment #13
avpadernoIf vladimiraus would comment here saying he is still interested in being co-maintainer, I could add him too.
danrodI can maintain this module if you guys don't mind, I do updates on all the modules I maintain on a daily basis (I'm kinda being paid for this), you may checkout my profile here: https://www.drupal.org/u/danrod
Comment #15
d.fisher commented@danrod this is fine with me. I think the more maintainers the better so this module doesn't become stale again. I'm only assigned the developer role though which means I can't add maintainers I believe so you might need to create another issue like this one so that @avpaderno can assign you as a developer also, or perhaps we can avoid the waiting times and get you added now? Either way I'm of the opinion that more maintainers is better for the longevity of this module!
danrod@darren.fisher no worries, I'll open another issue to request to be maintainer, thanks !
d.fisher commentedComment #18
d.fisher commentedAs vladimiraus seems absent and danrod has opened another issue I will move this to closed (outdated).
vladimirausSo many comments...
