I removed you from the co-maintainers of that project. (You actually had two permissions: Edit project and Maintain issues.)

japerry does not have the Administer maintainers permission and he cannot remove you from the maintainers/co-maintainers. (Actually, the only person with that permission is eclipsegc, the project owner.)
