Guys I am having problems displaying images in my drupal site while I'm having these warnings on the screen:

warning: fopen(/var/health/html/drupal/tmp/.htaccess) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/health/html/drupal/includes/file.inc on line 129.

The site is moved from WINDOWS environment to the current Linux server and I'm using IMCE module in my CCK nodes. Not only that the images dont show up in the view/node but they wont show up even in the IMCE image upload window. I can only see the image frames popping out at first in the browser but then disappear after a couple seconds. I tried deleting and re-uploading, FTP uploading and chmod chown all kinda things but none worked. Also I'm using Couloir Slideshow where the pictures wont show up either.

Any input is welcome. Thanks guys.

Seems no1 has a clue.. Could anyone plz even explain the warning msg... would be really helpful :D

I think that .htaccess file cannot be opened, have a look at http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/howto/htaccess.html

Thanks sunrises I got rid of the .htaccess problem but the images still wont show. All I can see on IE is a placeholder. Again the permissions are all correct... Any suggestions?

Hi buddy I finally went back to file system setting and caught a typo... Problem solved, and thanks for the help :)

what was the wrong?
Do u have "/tmp" or?
