Create a logo that is 512x512 square dimension in PNG format without animations. Suggested file size should be 10k or less. Use a lossy image tool (such as pngquant) to reduce file size while keeping the image quality at around 80%.
MAINTAINERS: The logo should be added to the root folder of the repo, and be named logo.png. This must be present on your project’s default branch. If you have a logo as the first image in the Images field on your project page, please remove it. The logo will be displayed on the cards in the Project Browser grid and list views.

The first problem I see with this is the text in the circles is quite small and very hard for the average user to read at the size the logo appears in the module cards. The second issue for me is that the hand has quite a thin outline, so doesn't have very much contrast with the background.
So for me, at present, this one is a miss. In general I prefer to avoid text in logos, but I'm not sure of a good way to get the concept of different formats across without it.

chrisfromredfinI think we need to stay away from the text a bit due to making sure it can scale, so in this way I like Tinto's options. Between those, I think #2 conveys "text format" very well, but not necessarily the "choice."
If I had to choose today, I think https://www.drupal.org/files/issues/2023-08-11/allowed_formats-logo-02-o... would be great, but might be made better if we could maybe throw a checkbox in one or two of those four corner options. Or, perhaps fill in one of the circles in the corners?

Setting this issue to RTBC, the module maintainers could elect to modify it to convey the idea of selecting options.
