2️⃣ There has been a lot of conversation this past week about how folks can test the Beta2 version of Project Browser. Any new thoughts on the status of Gitpod and the symlink issue?
| James Shields | Was @shaal proposing to make changes to Drupalpod to support Broject Browser by installing without Symlinks? We have a procedure for testing on Drupalpod, but it involves manual steps, so it would be great if there was a "one click" solution. |

3️⃣ Should we remove Simplytest.me as as option for "Try it now" from the Project Browser page on D.o until that is working again or put a note next to it? There is an issue - #3324622: Build Error for Project Browser
| James Shields | I opened an issue for this on simplytest.me, and was advides to edit a setting in my.cnf. Hooowever, I'm not sure how to edit it when the error is occurring during the spin up of the tugboat instance. |
| James Shields | I think if we can get clear stepps for how to do this, there would be value in keeping it, although it does seem to be moving it from something that's an easy way for a new person to try it, to something a bit scary and difficult. |

| chrisfromredfin | Yeah here's the diff. I have no sense of if SimplyTest.me is actually writing this into the my.cnf. Not sure if this is big enough for our fixture or what the issue is. 4️⃣ In preparation for Drupal 10 release day are there aspects of the Project Browser that should be highlighted? cc @timplunkett (he/him)

| fjgarlin | The module is supposed to be D10 compatible already, which is great.Probably the only thing would be to create a new fixture (from a D10 installation) to make sure that we filter out any non-D10 compatible module, and then release a new beta with the new fixture? |
| James Shields | Doesn't the module filter out modules that aren't compatible with your core Drupal version? |

| chrisfromredfin | It looks like 10.x is an option for DrupalPod even now. I would be good re-generating the fixture for 10.x and changing the "Try it Now" button for DrupalPod to spin it up on 10.x once it's released. Does that seems cool with folks? |
5️⃣ The Sitebuilder Subcommittee meeting on Tuesdays have been focused recently on Categorization. We have come up with a new. much smaller, set of categories and have been working on creating non-technical scope notes (descriptions). We are finalizing the descriptions this week. If anyone wants to review and weigh in on them - see the "Proposed Definitions (Scope notes)" sheet in the Initial Feedback for New Categories proposal doc. Add comments in the file for columns A and B on that sheet. (edited)

| rkoller | i’ve added a few ambiguous examples in column f in the proposed definitions spreadsheet as a benchmark that i’Ve noticed when searching for a few module examples yesterday night |

| rkoller | in the examples column i’ve only left a comment about the paragraphs module in content authoring (don’t know who added it). but that i would consider more under site structure as noted in the comment. most of the other examples i agree to ( only one or two module examples i am not familiar with).and same for the examples i’Ve added feel free to provide feedback if they dont suite. |
| rkoller | and maybe one idea. since there are already a few ambiguous module picks and some of the example are also discussable. how about trying to finish the word smithing for the scope notes this week and maybe have another short video call where we discuss and benchmark the quality of the terms and scope notes against those ambiguous modules. perhaps some potential readjustments might become apparent that way before we give out a new round of questionnaires to a selected list maintainers? | leslieg | I think a call next week would be helpful. Maybe we aim to send the sheet to a set of maintainers by Wednesday of next week. Would be great to get feedback from others before the holiday season |
| rkoller | doesnt have to be wednesday necessarily for sending out the sheets (i suppose it depends how stable we consider the final terms and scope notes against the ambiguous terms). but it should happen timely. but i agree it would be great to receive first feedback before the holidaysand maybe we could also collect a list of maintainers we’ll ask for feedback (ideally experienced maintainers with a long list of own modules). i will also write up some instructions ( or better update the previous ones since the methodology will slightly differ) (edited) |
| James Shields | Isn't next Wednesday Drupal 10 release day? That might be a day we could struggle to get noticed in peoples' in-boxes. I realise you said "by next Wednesday", but if we can't get it out before Wednesday, we should probably hold off a few days to let the dust settle. |

| rkoller | My $0.02 is basically that Site Structure and Content Authoring need some delineation (or possible to remove Content Authoring) - my belief right now is that the scope notes are ambiguous between the two. Everything else seems fairly good.hm i consider the delineation between site structure and content authoring more than well. the former is providing the structure and rules, basically the “corset” while content authoring is about filling that structure with “life” aka content.i consider it more problematic that most modules arent clear tools that improve the authoring processor which are for the authoring process. for example if you take a look at the ambiguous column there are a few modules that have content authoring as one of the options. but clear dedicated modules only for content authoring i havent seen yet. probably mostly “plugins” for ckeditor 4 or 5 or something like the gutenberg. so there might be some. but will be the question if it justifies its own category.but overall i agree it seems like a good direction. we just have to validate and challenge the categories, their labels and scopes. |
