1️⃣ I've got it queued up to revise the project page with links to the instructions in the handbook pages for getting beta2's functionality enabled on either DrupalPod or with a local DDEV (h/t @James Shields)
| leslieg | I installed Drupal 10 rc3 last night using the DDev Beta2 handbook page |
| timplunkett (he/him) | Cc @tedbow |
| tedbow | ok. I was making a gitpod snapshot that has AU and PB also |
| tedbow | ok finished the 1 for my demo https://gitpod.io#snapshot/3944f056-1af7-4fb3-ae95-640d80b552ad |

2️⃣ I need to catch up on meeting notes issues! Will also be doing that.
| leslieg | I have those queued up and ready to be added @chris. Will get to it after the D10 launch party |
3️⃣ @leslieg is representing us at the launch party event! I merged the 'show active installs on card view' yesterday at her request - something nice and new and visual to show. And helps people more intuitively understand the default sort.
| chrisfromredfin | If there's anything in particular she should mention, you can put it here. : ) |
| chrisfromredfin | (also h/t @timplunkett (he/him). I forgot to mark it fixed!) |
| leslieg | The # active installs not displaying for DDEV Beta2 @chris. I can show you |
| timplunkett (he/him) | beta2 was from Nov 23rd, active installs was committed yesterday |
| chrisfromredfin | Yeah, you need to use -dev version. |
| chrisfromredfin | DrupalPod always spins up latest dev. Or you need to clone to local ddev using git instructions for project browser. |
| chrisfromredfin | https://www.drupal.org/project/project_browser/git-instructions |
| fjgarlin | thanks @leslieg for doing the demo! |
| leslieg | @tedbow is presenting after me on Automatic Updates so luckily he can speak to the technical side of what's happening behind the scenes |
4️⃣ I am also going to generate a new fixture tonight based on a D10 install. We'll just be focusing on D10 moving forward! 🙂 Might need to be updated every couple of weeks in the near future as more and more stuff becomes D10 compatible.
| chrisfromredfin | did this in #3327684: Update fixture: Dec 16, 2022 - Drupal 10 compatibility |
| Slackbot | Pssst! I didn’t unfurl #3327684: Update fixture: Dec 16, 2022 - Drupal 10 compatibility because it was already shared in this channel quite recently (within the last hour) and I didn’t want to clutter things up. |
5️⃣ Oh, other thing on my list - working with SimplyTest.me to get it working on Tugboat. Have some verification and validation to do on my end to make sure the packet size for the MR I submitted to them before (that they merged) does actually work, since I'm trying to figure out if the patch doesn't work or it's just not big enough. For now I've removed the SimplyTest button from the main project description page.
| chrisfromredfin | #3327437: Increase max_allowed_packet in Tugboat MySQL config - filed a child issue and have been working with Adam (nerdstein) a little bit on it in #simplytestme |
6️⃣ Would love to see some motion on this one. https://www.drupal.org/node/3322594
| rkoller | might make sense to create a detailed priority guide (see step 5 https://alistapart.com/article/priority-guides-a-content-first-alternati...) for an example module to get an idea how the potential problems i’ve mentioned would turn out in a detailed priority guide: #3322594: Update project detail page layout & elements#comment-14807376 |
| leslieg | Good idea @rkoller I'll take a look later today |
7️⃣ A couple of biggish issues were waiting on @timplunkett (he/him) code review as @bnjmnm, @narendraR, @Srishti and myself were working heavily on the code, so it makes the most sense to have his review on them. We’ve have people testing the UI, etc, so at this point it’s mostly a code review what’s needed. These are:#3313292: Change layout to make plugin-specific content more clear (layout changes)(edited)
| timplunkett (he/him) | Oh sorry, didn't realize I was the blocker. Will look at this afternoon |
| fjgarlin | no pressure or rush, I was mostly bringing it under your radar, so it could happen at any time, but I think it makes sense that you do the final code review imo. thanks in advance! |
