Problem/Motivation

The current short description in the project browser:
Uses the Google reCAPTCHA web service to improve the CAPTCHA system. It is tough on bots and easy on humans.

reCAPTCHA is built for security. Armed with state of the art technology, it always stays at the forefront of spam and abuse fighting trends. reCAPTCHA is on guard for you, so you can rest easy.

Proposed resolution

I'm also of a fan of the short description found on their wiki:
"It is a free CAPTCHA service from Google that helps protect websites from spam and abuse. It is easy for humans to solve, but hard for “bots” and other malicious software to figure out."
It explains what a CAPTCHA is, and why reCAPTCHA is different.

I really liked the short & sweet description at #3 and I agree with what @mpaulohas has mentioned at #5 hence I've tried to merge the stanzas and to bring it under 200 chars.
