The Project Browser Initiative is working on a new page for adding and installing modules. The default display of the Project Browser will show Drupal modules that have a release that is compatible with the version of Drupal the site is using. A card will be displayed for each of the modules (projects). The key components displayed on the card will include a logo, a short description and the categories this module belongs to.

The number of categories was recently reduced from 55 down to 19 to help folks searching for modules to more effectively use the category filter.

First, read through the module’s project page on Drupal.org . If needed, spin up the module on SimplyTest.me or DrupalPod to understand what the module does. Then review the Category Definitions and suggest 1-3 categories for the module. (When in doubt, err on the side of fewer, not more!)

Proposed Categories

  1. Administration Tools

Updated the issue summary to reflect the recent change to reduce the number of Categories from 55 down to 19.

I'd like to propose adding the following categories to the list

  1. Administration Tools - because it relates to configuration of the site
  2. Import and Export - because it is excluding data from the site
  3. Access Control - because it restricts access to chosen configuration

The module is today categorised into:
1. Administration Tools
2. Developer Tools

These categories are still part of the curated list and make sense to me.

"Access control" definition is "Grant or restrict access to content, assets, or site functionality, or extend the authentication/login process.". I don't think it really applies here as it only impact how config is exported/imported.

"Import and Export" definition is "Help transfer content and data into or out of the site, by migration, backup, or exposing data to external systems." It can tentatively be a third category but I personally don't think "content and data" apply to "configuration".

Agree with Administration Tools asoit Empowers site builders and administrators with no-code tools to maintain the site. Not really a Developer Tool so wouldn't select that category

Updating summary and moving to RTBC
