kurttrowbridgeHello! Logo attached for consideration, based on Redis's real logo.
ressaAdding image in Issue Summary. And it looks good!
kurttrowbridgeBased on feedback for another logo I added, swapping the original out in favor of a transparent-background version of the logo. The word "redis" now has a slight white stroke on it for better contrast if it appears on a dark background.

kurttrowbridgeForgot to optimize the image to reduce size. Reuploading.

mpauloThe last file has the expected sizes. +1 for me.
But just one thing. I haven't seen any other transparent logos around. What does the community think about this?
mpauloMoving to NR, to wait for the community's opinion about the transparency.

amourowAlthough the border helps with displaying on the dark background.
The stroke may cause the kerning and legibility issue, especially on the smaller icon for the list.
Based on the Redis brand guideline, the current proposed logo may violate these two rules.

Use the original horizontal logo or just the cube and make it with a default background color would be better, IMO.
kurttrowbridgeThanks for the catch on the brand guidelines. Two new versions attached, one with the cube and one with the full wordmark, both on a white background.

lostcarpark commentedI prefer the version without text. The text will be on the project card anyway, so duplicating on the logo seems unnecessary. Text on images is not accessible to screen readers. Text makes image files larger, and can cause issues when scaling to small sizes. Finally, the text takes up significant space, so leaving it out allows a larger and more recognisable logo image.
Whichever version is used, I agree it looks better on the solid background.
Both versions have correct dimensions and fit the file size expectations.
