Hello! I wasted a lot of time to figure out that the problem was the field dislike is decremented.... For a reason that I don't know, the ajax is not able to rendered if the value is negative, but if you reload the page after click on dislike button, the value appear...

I created a patch to, instead of decrement the value, do equal like button and turn the value positive. I don't know why for dislike the value is decremented, so I think the maintainer can make it clear for us and see if this the better solution. But for a while, I think this patch can fix your problem.

The patch fixed the problem of not displaying the number when clicking the dislike button correctly. But as was said in comment #4, the maintainer can provide a better solution, for now I'm moving to RTBC

Done some major fixes around like & dislikes within 2.2.0 release,
Have a check if this issue still exist with 2.2.0 version?
